Mendes does what he does only because an idiot with antiquated mindset runs the club, who understands transfers and contracts on a 'quid pro quo' basis of returning favors to his agent-buddies

Cut Laporta some slack, Fati was a gem at the time and he was to be kept for many years. The club didn’t want any of the La Masia gems to go away. So, these contracts kept them so there will be some actual quality in the squad

If I remember correctly Utd offered ush 70 or 80 million for Fati. They probably should have offered more considering the fact that they paid 80 million for Anthony.

Yamal is not a problem, he's not injured and he deserves a big contract.

The problem is they'll give Gavi a huge contract now that he's returning from injury and we don't know his level yet. He was overrated before the injury, if he becomes even worse after the injury Gavi's contract will be our next big problem just like Fati's is now. Very similar case.

The new contract to Fati was signed in 2021-22 after his big injury, and when he was having already post-longterm injury injury problems.
Any sane board would have not given him this contract at this stage

14mil per season, earning more then 99% players in the Europe.

And plays like absolute dog shit.

Imagine season when we get rid off Ferret (10mil), Fati (14mil), De Jong (30mil).

55mil down to sewer, for 3 imbecills.
