Yea you're right, he was looking for that Messi one two connection, to make up for his loss of pace and his touch was off.

We don't play that kind of football anymore, he has to go vertical at least 50% of the times he gets the ball, Under flicks system.

His best bet is to play as a 9, but he needs to bulk up for that to happen.

He has no chance as a 9 imo. Never strong, quick enough for that role. And with his mediocre technique, even worse.

Yamal can't prevent his teammates from leaving him out to dry with three/four defenders so he sucks too. Ohlno must be privileged in 10 so by default he has players around him.
