Rest Messi or at least sub him in the second half against Xerez. Messi doesn't have confidence problems so it is not necessary him to score before Inter match. And to add more Messi at home is always twice superb as he is playing away. Relax guys, we are still able to beat Inter who will surely will play more careful.

Not a good performing by him. I don't blame him, Inter defence played very well and didn't give any gift for our players.

He needs a rest just because the last time he didn't score three games in a row, he cameback with four goals against Arsenal.

- He can't score everytime four goals, like against Arsenal. He's a creature, like all of us..and he can't do the same every match!
We can't hope just in Messi,is Ibrahimovic, Pedro and Bojan maybe.

i was listening to a post match analysis in fox sports and they talked for a little about Messi, this is what they said and i absolutely agree with them: " The Messi from yesterday is similar to the the Messi with Argentina, He has immense talent so much that he is compared to Maradona and Pele but there is something he doesn't have that they did, that is; when things aren't working out for him his motivation and drive go down significantly, in the case of Maradona when he was in a similar situation instead of feeling down he fought harder, looked for the ball more often, tried to be the leader and make things happen, Maradona had that character[/B]and drive to not let any defender/player/situation take him out of the game".

after the second goal which came from a lost ball by Messi i saw him participate less, and show up less for the ball it wasn't until the very last minutes that he started participating more but it was too late.

i think part of the problem is that if Messi is shut out barca struggles to find other paths to attack especially with iniesta out. This means that barca creates alot less and unfortunetly also means its easier for defenses to focus on Messi and effectively shutting him down even more, hence he struggles more in games where teams succesfully negate him early in games. We are very reliant on messis magic the way we play, especially with iniesta out and noone to really present a seious threat on our left :/
