Lionel Messi has stated that Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo will make an ideal teammate for him.
Speaking to ShortList, the Argentine and Barcelona striker admitted that he would jump at the chance to play alongside World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo.
"Playing with Ronaldo would be nice, I have to admit," claimed Messi.
"I've been lucky because I've always had quality players by my side throughout my career."
But the 21-year-old admitted that his dream will remain one as the decision to sign Ronaldo or not depends on the Powers that be and not him.
