This. really unimpressed by many's reactions here. Who's dumb enough to think Messi played only to secure the record ? Or that Vilanova played him for it ? also this is reminiscent of a mentality that is very contradictory, and harmful to the values the club and the players uphold

Any other player would have dived + won a penalty + the GK sent off. Messi tried to score, got nothing and got injured.

To be fair I thought the keeper got a touch on the ball which is why he didn't get the decision.

Diving should never be an option and i'm glad it's virtually non-existent in Messi's game.
