Wait really? I saw the date, and it says it was published today..This is old. I'm surprised totalbarca are publishing it today. They were already excused of it all...
if this is true, what the hell are they even thinking? more hits?

The "guy", who happens to be a club vice-president, was disrespectful and implied Messi wanted more money. It's normal to get upset and respond.messi isnt all that right either. i mean WTF his he on? why is he talking about board directors like that? if this was ribery or ronaldo people would call them arrogant , idoits and fools. i think the same should be said of messi. the guy said he isnt going to get a renewal and provided a good reason... then messi comes out and makes this all of a big deal.
i am disappointed in messi tbh.
And they have already proven they paid the money to Unicef: http://www.mundodeportivo.com/20131220/fc-barcelona/mas-pruebas-del-pago-de-messi-a-unicef_54398422224.htmlThey are saying Leo's father has NOT been cleared because there are apparently some conflicting statements made by UNICEF and other sources in Colombia which contradict what LMM was saying.
Just showing the enormity of the situation-
It has made headlines in India, a cricket mad nation in action against South Africa at the moment.
Ridiculous by Faus.
It has made headlines in Germany, too. But in a way that puts Messi in a bad light. Stern for example is one of the biggest newspapers in Germany, reaching more than 8 million readers and their article about it starts like this:
"More and more scratches are shining through the once so flawless image of Barcelona star Lionel Messi. [...] The usually ever so reserved player attacked the club's vice president for finances drastically who had explained earlier that there is no plan to renew Messi's contract again which was already renewed in February earlier this year."
They are also making the link to Ronaldo, saying that Messi is angry about getting less money than Ronaldo. See the photo in their article.

So many contradictions and mess in this. I can't wait for Messi to put 2013 behind him.
And this is the goal of Rosell as well, IMO...When you use the media as he has, you can alter the debate even when there's little truth to it...Sometimes referred to as the throw shit against the wall and see what sticks tactic
Even in the Thiago saga, so much was being played out in the media and it ultimately backfired just as it did with Pep & Valdes...So what's the goal here?...Push Messi out?...Consolidate power by having it Nike U here and cut all ties to the old era?
For the bandwagoners here, they aren't familiar with how much of a circus it used to be with the club...those days are back...And in those days, the unthinkable would & could happen, namely trashing & then selling your best player
What best players were trashed and sold in the past?
You seem to always make comments as if you are one of the few that know best and have followed the club for years. Just totally patronising.
This situation is one board member handling a situation poorly and is nothing remotely close to them trying to force Messi out.
