Only reason why I would like is to shut up the epl fanboys because Messi would kill that league. Easily 30+ goals and 20+ assists a season with how much space he would get.

I barely watch epl as I don't enjoy that kind of football so no thanx. :puke:

Dude I understand where you are coming from, and I agree. But as far as dynamism, excitement, entertainment quality EPL is top notch. It's a fun league to watch, unless you're really big on technical quality and whatnot. But at the end of the day it is great to appreciate both La Liga style of football and EPL.

It's somewhat similar to watching Mayweather fight vs watching Idk a knockout fighter, Mike tyson say. With Tyson you get the big punches, early knockouts, ear bites lol, etc you get a fight... It's exciting!

With Mayweather you get boxing, great technical display, impeccable defense, high boxing IQ inside the ring.

The casual fan will be more attracted to Mike, because well it's obvious I don't need to explain it... whilst the fan of Mayweather will generally have to enjoy more digesting pure boxing fundamentals, technique, skill, etc to truly appreciate his work (to somewhat explain the EPL hype vs La Liga)

But the truth is both types of fighters are entertaining! just in different ways you see.

Ok It isn't the greatest example, one because Tyson wasn't just a knockout fighter he was fundamentally an excellent boxer, two because neither is La Liga so unexciting and nothing but good technical football as neither is the EPL nothing but energy and back and forth dynamic play, they both have those two things only difference it is highlighted more in one league than in the other. It just comes down to styles..

So when we say Messi would be fun to watch in EPL, it's because of the style of the league, the atmosphere is totally different than it is here. It would be interesting to see how he handles it, and how the league handles him.

More like la liga is boxing while epl is mma.

The EPL style of football, as Guardiola put it out, is unpredictable with endless crosses on both sides. It's entertaining in the sense of pace of the game and the 20th team in the table being able to win 1-0 over the 1st in the standings. But there isn't anything more to be said, we see that English clubs are easily defeated in Europe thanks to their overconfidence of playing in "the greatest league in the world", also playing on Christmas and New Year's Eve is I think a factor nowadays.

And yet Guardiola with all his brilliance and knowledge of the game has met the style to be imposing and has had to adjust accordingly. It's a sign that it deserves respect, afterall. Let's not kid ourselves, Spanish teams play the better football, but English teams are a pain in the ass in their turf.

Yes, he had hard times in his first season, but I disagree with the adjusting part. I'm convinced Pep seeks to build a squad that will play his style of football, which is to minimize opponents' possesion of the ball, pass the ball on feet. His defenders at City did something very unusual for the Catalan - cleared the ball or in some cases played long balls to Aguero. I don't think this is adjusting, more of a lack of tactical discipline or knowledge.

Poor guy just finished carrying our team to 3 points away from the title and now he has to go do the same for Argentina.
