If we don't sign him before the WC, expect him to cost 50-70% more.

The advantage with Dembélé is that he is versatile. If Bob could develop playing here, there and every where so can Dembélé too.

So yes he will get minutes too. And no better way to develop than playing with the GOAT! Getting a whole lot of minutes or otherwise!!

As i said we should not sign him at cost of a CM and solid RB. If we can get all three and masch agrees to stay for one more season we will be in for a treat.

I got a feeling that info on transfer budget is bullshit. Isn't it weird that we are after Bellerin,Dembele,Seri/Veratti and have 75m of transfer budget? I mean Bellerin alone would cost 50m. And I really doubt we would get big money from selling Arda,Rafinha and Mathieu. 40m maximum.

As i said we should not sign him at cost of a CM and solid RB. If we can get all three and masch agrees to stay for one more season we will be in for a treat.

Ideally. If we are shifting to 4-2-3-1, which I think would very much be the case if we indeed did buy Dembélé, the said CM could be more of a box-to-box mid fielder (in the lines of Seidou Keita) than a regular creative mid fielder who would cost a bomb.

RB: 40 - 50m (I think the stupid board will not be able to get any for less!)
CM: 30 - 40m

Offload Arda Turan (15m), Gomes (25 - 30m), Denis (10 - 15m), Rafinha (10 - 15m) and wages that could be saved on them and the other dead weight like Mathieu, should be achievable even with a moderate sporting director! But then I'm not too sure about

Iniesta would be an impact sub, ala Xavi was in 2015. Sergi and Rakitic can be used to flood in mid field to rest Leo, or to rest Neymar by moving Dembélé to LF and Leo to RF, etc.

Until Mbappe can add a little more interplay to his game, he's still below Dembele. Btw one played in a team experiencing a perfect storm of form and ability (Monaco) while Dembele, while not in a poor team by any means, still had to deal with a new environment and some turmoil towards the end of the season culminating in Tuchel being sacked. Not to mention the second best guy of that team is crooked.

I mean, imo, Mbappe wasn't more impressive than Dembele at all but for the reason stated above it may seem that way.

According to Daniel Campos we offered BVB 70 million euros for Dembele, and could be paid in two seasons, Negotiations ongoing.
