Nevermind about watching Dembele, I hope this tactical coach can teach Messi about his own movement, to stop walking around in some big games and start moving about more to receive the ball like in his early years

nothing funnier like a nobody telling the worlds greatest how he should play

EV doesn't hold the decision to keep or move the player, that is why he said he is hopeful. Come on people.
And honestly I don't blame him for anything regarding Dembele, he had amazing game last night but he had his fair share of bad/mediocre appearances too, he was a bit overprotective with the kid but tried to incorporate him too.
Injuries is what fucked Dembele season, not EV

He should have kept him in the CL after the Chelsea home leg.

Injuries didn't ruin him there, Valverde's overprotective/conservative nature did.

He deserved continuity after that performance, but didn't play in the home leg vs Roma and was brought on after Gomes with 3 min left in the 2nd leg on our way out of the tourney.

This guy is a future top 3 in the world player.

His composure, dribbling, acceleration and vision are freak levels for such a young player.

Impossible to lose him. If a big decision need to be made when Griezmann comes in, it's Suarez that needs to be put on the spot.

The only decision to be made is to get rid of mediocrity like Paco, Munir, Denis and Vidal.

Barcelona is not gonna sell Dembele under any circumstances after paying at least 135 million for him.

He is going to turn 21 in few days. He'll be 25 at the 2022 world cup. He will not even reach 30 by 2026 world cup.

Demebele is a long term plan. We'll be fools not to be patient with him.

There is no single player that can ever replace Messi but Dembele certainly could develop into one of the key players that we can build around in post-Messi era. He has talent but there is still a long way ahead of him to reach his full potential or at least come close to that.

Messi’s successor? No!

He has the talent to be very successful yeah but a Messi successor he is not.

Well, we'll need a successor. Everybody knows Messi's successor won't be at the same level.

We can be happy if Dembélé reaches Neymar's level without being a liability due to his propensity to stupid red cards and fights with opposing fullbacks.

Already struggled getting minutes in his first season, with Griezmann in, permanent 80th minute substitute next season?
