Raphinha's contract includes two release clauses: 75 million in case Leeds will stay in PL, 25 million if relegated. That's why Barcelona are waiting to make their opening bid. #FCB

Personal terms not an issue. Bar?a are in advanced talks with his agent Deco since February.

Stunning.

I wonder if there is a chance to meet around the middle around the 40-50m range if Leeds do not get relegated.

No one's paying his 75m release clause.

Any club that want him will want to negotiate it down to max 50m and I assume Leeds would be more willing to sell abroad if the offers to them are matching. I think Raphinha would choose us over staying in the PL too.

Not because the other teams are worse or anything like that but Brazilians just favour going to Spain over anywhere else, and his agent kinda works for us(conflict of interest but that's a discussion for another day).

EPL clubs normally don't sell cheap and we're not the only ones going for him, should get him for something between 45-60m

I think somewhere between 45-60m makes sense yeah. Not sure if they really want Mingueza but if they do maybe 50-55m + Mingueza for him can make it work.
