Damn, if this is "superclass", Ronaldinho while drunk and on cocaine would play better. Nothing against the guy, he s coming good seemingly so, but standards have fallen so much on what "superclass" means.
Dont think anybody really considers it to be one. Just the guy from youtube trying to get some clicks. Was a really good performance for sure though. But even he is capable of much better. Not to speak of other players.

If you're going to keep comparing mortals to immortals you'll always end up disappointed.

Players like Ronaldinho are unique. Don't grow on trees. Doesn't mean Raphinha with his current performances isn't World Class and elite because he absolutely is at the moment.

As long as his role and the team tactics doesn't change much he'll produce. If someone comes and changes his role from more like a SS to a normal winger he'll suffer.

Don't think wingers that hug the line and go at 1 vs 1 often at pace are "normal wingers" and the rest are not that. Simply different profiles of players, it's not like someone like Dembele could do what Raphinha does. Not even in his dreams.

The downsides of Raphinha were always stylistical. In terms of efficiency, he showed pretty quickly that he can deliver the goods in his own way. People had in mind that he needs to be this specific kind of player style-wise to fit in here, but it was never a must. He has a great mix of qualities that many other players lack, even among the top ones. I couldn't care less that he doesn't do tricks and fancy dribbles often.

Nowadays it s a low bar. But come on. He s lower than Neymar at this moment...and Neymar didn't play in one year.

He has a great attitude. But he is BRAZILIAN. Technique wise, he is just average. Comparing to what i saw, in Barca, from that COUNTRY.

When push comes to shove, if he stays here for the next 4-5 years playing at this level, he will probably end up having a better Barca career than Neymar, who is immeasurably more talented than him.

Attitude counts for a hell of a lot and in many cases is more important than technique and talent etc.

Raph is the Anti-Brazilian and to be honest, it's a breath of fresh air.

Not for a brazilian tho. We expect flair and vision from these guys.
