I would say Modric is the king of trivela passing.

How many of Yamal's assists this season are the same Modric pass.

Would be nice to see a little variety once in awhile.

Brilliant game from him as usual, just needs to work on his finishing though which can be questionable at times. He has 95+ vision and dribbling but 70-75 finishing/composure.

And yes I’m using fifa stats but you get my point, even he said it’s L2 to use trivelas

This kid is special, but it's also dangerous that the team starts becoming dependent on his performance. We don't need another Messi scenario where the players pass to him and wait for him to do something.
So far the team with him and without him has 2 different faces. I really hope Flick somehow finds a good balance.

I don't think the team us dependent on him.

But we have 4 attacker unit (Raph, Olmo, Lamine & Lewa) in a team that lacks product from fullbacks and have no attacking depth.

Missing any two of those 4, immediately makes us a toothless lethargic team. We are dependent on those 4.

Team is clearly way more dependent on him than any of the other three though.

Take Lamine out of the lineup yesterday and get Lewy in, we would probably drop points again.


For me in terms of importance:

Yamal >>>>>>>>>>>>>Raphinha>>>>>>Olmo>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lewy

Lamine and Rapha are key players for attack. Casado is the same for the midfield.

Any of those 3 missing and we drop in quality significantly.

He's clearly the attacking fulcrum of the team, but that's not a bad thing, he's a generational talent.

He's like a pressure release valve for the entire Team.
