JUST IN: Many Spanish clubs have threatened to go to court if La Liga decides to eventually approve Dani Olmo’s registration.

This is getting ugly

We will get through this.

Tebas is right to a major degree too. Stump the pride and fookin make a major sale.

I think though that there should be also compliance from LaLiga. An agreement for example that yes, we will be active and open to a key sale or two, but also that LaLiga will allow FFP passiveness during this period with registrations so that we do not get shorthanded in the market.

Obviously selling from the position of a huge revenue club like Barca on FFP fluctuations and limits, and a tiny revenue club on fluctuations and limits like Getafe or Alaves, are two different things.

And LaLiga should acknowledge this.

Even right now with the VIP sales or Nike deals. These are major and serious business deals that LaLiga passiveness would massively improve our hand. Companies like Nike will use every advantage to save a few bucks, which in this example would be a few millions.

LaLiga accepting the provisional sales of these non-fluff deals would help us, and in turn Spanish football, unmeasurably.

Barca are ready with the next move - RFEF rejects us, the club will take the matter to civil court. Could be a legal trick to buy additional time to fit in the 1:1 rule or simply one final Hail Mary.

Being reported that this is what might happen.

La Liga and RFEF rejecting them and the club now taking them to court.

Taking them to court would be another pathetic move from Laporta. I am sure this wan't change the fact that we lost Olmo for the next 6 months. They knew that they had time until 31st of December. However, they fooled around for 4 months. By taking this circus to court Laporta only wants to remove the spotlight from himself. This is 100% his fault.

Villarato!
So

Not only was he unnecessary (given club had a barely more fit player in Gundogan in his place)

Not only was he tough to register

He now has an option to leave on a free
AND potentially has option to have the remainder of the salary he's owed paid out while he plays elsewhere?

Holding the club he grew up in by the balls because they're too incompetent to make his Barcelona stay nice enough

Dream job and position for this lad
Whoever his agent is is a top man

Laporta et al (never mind culés) knew legal route was always going to be necessary as Spain is corrupt beyond belief

Sure La Liga have not made it easy, but the club had five months to prepare for this and still left it last minute with the deadline passing.

Now there's another clown show going on with the Basket section of the club.

Laporta is not a Messiah that's immune to criticism.

Who cares he’s always injured anyway

Announce the return of the prince now

.@GxlDePaulinho: "If Dani Olmo and Pau Victor can't be registered, Barcelona would still go back to the 1:1 rule and be able to sign players. There is a player who finishes his contract this year... Neymar Jr."

That said I thought RFEF would at least find a way to help out in this regard if it's true that Olmo won't be allowed to play for the Spanish NT either.
