They'd get absoloutely nowhere chasing Xavi & co & get picked off in the process, if they can keep it tight, not concede, they are in the game. That's the plan & it's the smartest plan. They are inferior.

But yes i'm sure the Spanish are sick of facing packed defenses but they are not alone in that.

It is a bit ridiculous. I can understand parking the bus when you have a realistic chance of winning, but if you're going to lose anyway without any chance of qualification, why not just attack? Better to lose 10-1 or something and at least give he crowd a goal to celebrate.
