30+15+20+10+10+10+10+40=145m

Buy Garcia, Gaya, VDB:
30+50+50= -130m

Positive balance (+15m) and almost all big contracts gotten rid of.

Think we would get more money out of some players + Rafinha will be gone to Lazio if rumours are truth.
Good CF on the market, maybe Milik from Napoli as he doesn't want to extend his contract.
Otherwise I would go for Moussa Dembele (Lyon) or Alexsander Isak (Sociedad).

All don't need big fat 5+ Million contracts, so would give us some breathing room to get our finances in check.
Expectations should be no more than QF CL and 2nd place La Liga next year, time to clean up house.

RB + LB are really giving some headache. We have talent, but they just lack IQ

If Koeman intend to keep Busquets as a backup, Roberto as a midfielder, Coutinho at the club, sign another midfielder, how will Riqui and Pedri get any minutes?

I think media is in the dark for now and decisions has either A- not leaked or B-Not even made.
The whole rumors doesn't make any sense, no big picture for squad, hell not even a small picture :lol:

I don't think we'll buy another midfielder. There is just not enough money.

Pedri should go on loan. If Gladbach is still interested I'd send him there.

Puig I don't really rate all that much but he should get enough minutes.


If we'll stay with 4-3-3 then I think midfield will look like this:

Pjanic/Roberto - FDJ/Busi - Coutinho/Puig

Far from perfect but I'd say a pretty big improvement over what we've had last season. Ideally I'd prefer a more athletic/stronger midfielder who could play alongside FDJ and Pjanić/Puig (depending on the opponent, result,...) over Coutinho though.

Will never happen (mostly because Alba doesn't want to leave) but if Simeone is really interested in Alba I'm wondering if we could make a swap between him and Partey.

The GK and back four will the same shitty defence that conceded 8 to Bayern. Two shit full backs and bog standard CBs with no leadership.

Busi and Roberto will probably find a lot of minutes in midfield.

The revolution is just one big con and an attempt to get rid of Suarez a year early.

Let's see how far they go with letting players go, but don't undersell it like "Rakitic/Vidal and Umtiti were already done". If they were so done, they wouldn't have been regular starters - bar constantly injured Umtiti - unde EV just some months ago.

Agreed.

- Busquets, Rakitic, Vidal and Suarez are dropped from the starting 11 is already going to be a big difference.
- Rakitic, Vidal, Suarez, Arthur and Umtiti will be gone from the squad.
- Dembele and Trincao will be additions. Not sure what will happen Pedri and the rest of the returning loaned players.
- I expect a couple of signings. There's a limit to what we can do with the resources of the club. And I'm not sure the current management should be making too many these decisions.

Right now it doesn't look like barely any change. I'm on a wait and see mode, though.
