4 - Ronald Araújo

Do we have any source about what wage Barca proposed to Araujo for his extension to compare him to Kounde's situation? Not that it compares, since Kounde is probably both better and much more available than Araujo.

We have no source of that, and we don't have any really reliable idea of any player wages with few exceptions that had their contract leaked. It is all guesses based on journos reports.

This is not American sports where salaries are the backbone of player trades and free agents.

The only valid information is the salary cap regarding La Liga. The rest is click-baits.

Yeah, hold on until the summer and hope he doesn't get long-term injured again. It's not without risk. His value will increase in the next 6 months only if he stays fit and plays well.

plays where in this squad? He is out of favor. I think he could play, but Laporta is probably telling Flick to not play him.

Breaking: Barcelona have rejected Juventus' first offer for Ronald Araújo. The Italian club presented a proposal for the centre-back and the response from the club was clear: "He's not on the market". The Catalan club only consider the Uruguayan's departure this January if the player asks for it and brings an offer of around €70m. @ffpolo, @martinezferran

Juventus was a dud from the start. They're even poorer than we are. They probably thought they can get him easy enough with our ffp problems. Under €50m, Laporta won't even pick up the phone and Juve can't afford it obviously together with his wages.

He was obviously not going for 30m in January.

Flick is just weird with how he integrates players back in after an injury.

Let's just send Garcia back to Girona and keep it moving

Who plays DM when Casado is not there? Eric should stay.

Club should focus on getting rid of Frankie and Fati.

Chrissy I love but he hasn't played for a while and is injury prone. Frankie? Seriously?

I mean, it isn't like Eric is actually good at CDM. And it seems he wants out. He is a starter inbmost clubs in this league, and a 5th option CB, and 4th option CDM if the whole team is healthy. I can't blame him for wanting out.
