Then scores a goal and motions as if he does his talking on the pitch...

He plays like an athlete who came to being a CB late and has not really learned much in 5 years.

The problem is that he is on a lifetime contract, so he is Barca´s future at CB position, we went all in on him and he wont improve. It is what it is doesn't just cut it.

What you wrote is the absolute truth. Yes, Araujo is fast, but if he continues to make the usual for him positional mistakes in Flick's high defensive line, it will be a disaster, even if Araujo becomes the fastest man in the world.

Little football fans, tell me again that good passing is not a key skill for a defender. Finally, some idiots began to learn to watch football through the eyes of a coach, otherwise they would continue to shout - BUT HE IS FAST.

With a red card in a game under control after a very poor pass first? :mou:

I wouldn't count on him starting once Inigo returns. Let's see how he reacts to that.

😂

Now with Martinez getting skinned and the forum saying if only araujo, lol.

Fans are just too reactionary.

But that's a good one lol.

Every CB will get skinned at some point tbh.

Like I said in the match chat I'll give Araujo some more games since he returned from a long injury layoff, but the weaknesses will still be there after a run of games.

We all know he is mediocre passing it out of the back, but he then need to be a lot more disciplined which he hasn't been at all.

Either way whether he stays or goes in the summer I'm indifferent.

Araujo is an idea player these days, the idea of him as this impassive wall that can get back running to any fire and stop it as if he was prime VVD is much better than the player he's in reality.

You're welcome
I think he looked much more athletic today than the past few games tbh, where he was more sluggish. Hopefully it is a sign that he will shake the rust off.
Not sure if it was the same Atalanta attacker every time, could be retegui. But outran him more than once.

Have to go back and check
