We usually moan about injuries but this half season we were really lucky that Pau and Inigo stayed healthy as our only CBs from the start of the season exactly to the game Araujo returned. Imagine if one of them had a big injury and we played with Dom for months.

I hope this forum is done discussing whether a central defender should be able to play pass at elite level.

I suggest banning people who claim the ability to play passing at an elite level is not an important quality for a central defender.

Let's not overreact. After Araujo came in in 1st half of Supercup we have t conceded goal from play. Betis and Getafe next wasnt defensive catastrophes. Conceded 1 each.
This is the first match where we missed him.
