Think he did well. Was worried we'd lose the midfield battle completely with Garcia, Gavster and Fermin, but he surprised me a bit and took a bit more responsibility in possesion than usually I feel like.

Sub should have been made earlier we weren't getting much for our midfield all game, bar pedri in the first half.

Olmo was getting murdered.
De jong was having a typical game of his, not bad, not very good.

Should have been the midfield from around the 60th minute and Martin off for whoever, literally anyone even a fan in the stands.

Then Garcia for Pedri earlier because he was dead on his feet.

Thought it should have been Olmo for Gavi myself. Olmo was non existent second half and getting overrun.

We needed Gavi to raise the intensity.

Fermin could have come on later.

He is starting to look like a player again IMHO, still long way to go to reach the level we were expecting from him but he is in upward trajectory and he has age in his side and talent is there.

He had a good game, Madrid had more issues pressing us because Gavi has top level intensity. Too bad he is not producing some creative passes, he'd be a top top midfielder if he could also contribute on that front, but on the ball he is too pedestrian for the time being.
