He is productive these past two seasons.. he has 25 goal/assists in around 2800 minutes.

As long as is confident he should be kept as can cover all three front positions as well as AM type role.

He would have to be happy obviously and club with the salary and there would to be more option up top with pace.

Even if we have him, we still need a backup winger of better quality. Lamine and Rapha are playing heavy minutes.

Definitely, the issue is Ansu is desperately eating into cap space and has shown not to be at the level. Might get to one somewhat in a few years, but needs to play somewhere else for that.

Once Ansu is out hopefully we get that profile and depth the squad needs.

Never as bad as claimed.

He is suitable enough to be a backup striker and in fact is better than you'd expect for it.

Can cover all front 3 positions to an adequate level and when he is on his day can score goals.

Keeping him for the rotation is fine. He knows the club, is motivated and accepts his role.

The bad finishing is a big concern but is somewhat of a red herring that distracts from the fact he is actually fairly productive. His great movement means he will always score goals despite missing many chances.

He looked worse in a bad attack which relied on individual actions to succeed.

Raphi for the majority of the time was worse too.

Better, more in form, cheaper, more integrated and more focused on football than Trashford.
