And Deulofeu.
I think we could get more for the others though.
Gomes 30M (don't forget that Mendes is his agent)
Denis 15M
Rafinha 15M (if he can stay healthy for the rest of the season then maybe around 20-25M)
Vidal 8-10M
Paco 20-25M (I would only sell him if we'll get Griezmann in summer otherwise would keep him as backup)
Vermaelen 6-8M (if he'll stay healthy for the rest of the season maybe more)
Cillessen (could get around 20M for him IMO but we'd need to replace him; maybe sell him to Napoli with Pepe Reina coming back as part of the deal; I think he'd want to come back home and be a good backup for 2-3 seasons)
Digne (wouldn't sell him now but maybe in a year if Cucu will prove to be the real deal)
That's around 100M here in best case scenario IMO.
But yeah, in reality we'll probably just loan them all.
We are offtopic with this, but I think that most of you are too romantic.
When Paco is coming from Valencia to Barca, then his real value is 150-200% inflated.
So, if his worth is 15-20M, he will cost 30-40M.
Plus, Barca is eager to get him and overpay him.
On the other hand, when we are trying to get rid of him, he will be sold either for his real value, or lower than that.
So, again, if his worth is 15-20M, we will get EITHER 15-20, or more likely, even less, like 10-15M.
Also, another point is:
When Barca is buying Paco=you have at least one BIG and RICH club (Barca) who is willing to buy him and overpay him.
Now, after Paco's 2 years at Barca, who on Earth will buy him (out of big clubs)?
Real, Bayern, Man Utd, Man City, Juve, Psg? They don't need players of level of Paco.
So, who needs Paco?
= teams like Everton, Valencia, Fiorentina and similar
And those teams will usually pay only 5-10 Millions or loan a player.
When Barca wanted Paco=you have A DEMAND for Paco.
When Barca is selling Paco=you have NO DEMAND for Paco.
So again, when we were buying him=you had one BIG and RICH team who wanted him.
Today, you have ZERO big+rich clubs who want him.
And you can sell him only to poor or mediocre teams.
And that means 10-15M at best.
The same story is Vidal and Denis for example.
Who on Earth will buy them (out of top clubs)?
No one since they are not good enough.
So, big spenders don't need them and again, only teams like Valencia, Villareal, Celta, Roma, Lazio could be interested in them.
And those teams will again either loan a player or pay some shitty sums like 5-8 Millions.
Rafinha?
The same story.
Who on Earth will buy Rafinha?
He can play only at Celta and similar, as a starter.
And those teams will again pay 5-8M at max. Even that sum is questionable.
You even mentioned 20-25M for Rafinha.
That is a sum which usually only teams like Man Utd, Man City, Juve, Bayern, Barca and Real are paying.
Those teams don't need Rafinha.
So, again, WHO will pay more than 6-8M for Rafinha?
To earn more than 10M for a player, you will need BIG+RICH team after our player.
And currently, only Gomes can attract some richer team.
I don't have any faith that any of Denis, Rafinha, Deulo, Vidal will bring us more than 10M.
In fact, Deulofeu has some chances to be sold to some EPL team for more than 10M.
Arda will bring us 0M.
Vermaelen also.
We are trying to sell them for years, BIG TEAMS don't need them, and teams like Galatasaray and Roma don't have money and want them only for 2-3M, on loans or as free transfers.
I get the point: "the market is crazy."
But the market is crazy ONLY if you have a demand and if some BIG team is interested in a player.
So, a market IS CRAZY when Barca wants Coutinho for 150-180M or Arthur for 50M.
But the market IS NOT crazy when Barca is trying to sell Denis or Rafinha.
Big teams don't need them, and smaller teams can't offer more than 5-8M.
And then, how on Earth to sell those guys for 15-20 when teams who are willing to pay 15M for Denis/Rafinha doesn't exist?
