There are other opportunities in the market we could go for that might offer better value for us, like Fabinho, Seri, Thomas Lemar, Malcom, Leon Goretzka and Mbappe. Different players of course but the important thing is the overall quality of the team.

It's either Coutinho and Dembele or noone at this point. It's too late to aproach the signings of Eriksen, Dybala, Hazard and some others I saw beeing mentioned here. Mbappe could be possible , but would cost too much imo, and could end up beeing snached up by PSG in the last moment, not worth the time and effort, Seri went out the window at the moment Paulinho became official unfortunately.

Dembele and Mbappe are possible if we switched to 4-2-3-1 with Paulihno and Busi in midfield. Not sure how we'd play but we'd have two of the brightest young stars

One of the absolute best players in France, was great in the CL, would walk into our team at 21 years old and can play for about a decade at the highest level. I remember people saying Umtiti is not the quality we need when I suggested him a couple of years ago and that we needed Benatia, Stones, Laporte or some other "world class" player for a huge fee instead...
