Pedri could be out for 6-8 weeks. [@fansjavimiguel]
Don't care, season is pretty much over anyway. Pedri finally getting some proper long term rest could actually be good, so he (and hopefully Fati) are 100% fit and ready for next season. Fati also shouldn't be risked in more than half of these remaining Liga games, and even out of those I'd start him maybe just once, otherwise just ease him in from the bench. We forget these are still 19-year boys, who still have a lot of development, not just talent, but body wise, ahead of them, and are still getting used to playing 50-60 matches on this level (plus all the international call ups), season upon season.
And maybe it would also give Xavi the incentive to give one (last) proper run in the team to Puig, just to see if he can prove himself, and thus deciding whether to keep him (short term renewal in the next 2 months and then loan for next season, then we reassess in the summer of 2023), or sell this summer? Same goes for Nico, only in his case just a case of deciding whether to keep him in the team or loan him out too (without the possibility of selling).
