Nah if anything he's starting to become underrated because of the injuries. Easily the most talented midfielder we have.
Yep, because of the first part of the season where board and xavi tryed to force him out. Frenkie was unavailable only in spring time.He played 2.7k minutes last season, which isn't too bad. Frenkie played just 500 more.
ThisOverhyped. You can't be considered a serious top-level footballer if you're injured half of the season. This will be his third season in a row where it's looking like that.
This is exactly what happened. He was too young and got overplayed by Koeman then Xavi. All the national team games didn't help either.Could this be because of that season where he was overplayed(73 games or something)?
At a young age, overplaying can permanently fuck up your injury chances....
Muscles are never as strong after injury, and he keeps repeatedly injuring the same ones. The overplaying thing is a nicely fitting story but it doesn't really make sense. If his hamstring had been overworked then, well, he would have gotten a hamstring injury. What doesn't injury a muscle makes it stronger, not weaker. After normal recovery (we're talking days, not seasons), there is no reason why there should be long term effects.
If we were talking about a knee injury or something then maybe it would make sense. In this actual case it sounds more like poor pre-season conditioning to me.
Some guys are just injury prone. Gavi seems to be one of those guys who is there no matter what. Pedri will be gone when we need him mostWe just need to get used to playing without pedri.
He is like what dembele used to be, he will never be here through out the season.
He needs to be more like gavi
