So far, it has seemingly been more difficult for him to be as prolific as in Bundesliga but I think Flick has the ingredient that was missing in Xavi's game plan. I don't want to gallop too far, but the success of Flick at Bayern had a direct connection with Lewandowski as a CF in his system.
Lewandowski is nearing to his career end, but this season he has evidently revived. I really hope and believe there's a potential for a triple crown 2024/25 with him having a crucial role.

Lewandowski's weaknesses were evident in Bayern too. He is not a a top number 9 in terms of talent. He is a very good number 9 but not top. Fails to head balls in contested areas, fails to win duels.
Now him being old is nulifying his link-up play who was really good. Lewa is not the poacher you want if you want to win crucial games vs the top tiers. Never was.
Him scoring lots of goals in La Liga is just a throwback at his qualities as a good poacher but he will not win us UCL.
For that you need a great team or clutch players that dominate the defenders. Lewa can't dominate anyone and I will want and example of him doing that in Bayern in contested areas vs top defenders.

His finishing is still very good, shouldnt be involved much in buidling-up but rather the end guy who shoots

Weaknesses when he played for Bayern?
1. Who does not have them?
2. I must have watched almost every Bayern game when he played there. Between 2019-21 nowhere in the World there was a better striker than him with Haaland, Benzema, and Kane combined.
Today...he is a shadow of what he was there. I hope, however, to see some semblance of his previous version under Flick.

I like strikers who know how to win arial duels and dominate defenders in the box both physically and technically. So I am mostly a Benzema fan from his generation. Even Suarez was limited in my opinion while being a baller and pushing oponents left and right in his prime. In my opinion he was mostly a number 10 caught up in a very fast game turned into a very letal striker. Lewandowski, while only seeing him in UCL, have never impressed me. His fishing was top tier, his link-up play very good but that's all in my opinion. Expecting anything else in his old age is a bit useless. Lewandowski is the regular elite german striker, nothing impressive but gets the jobe done most of the time.
Kane is a second class pr merchant while Haland has the body, the poaching skills but no heading ability or tehnical abilities. For now Haland needs lots of fine tuning to apear in big games.
Adriano, R9, Batistuta, Crespo, Sheva, Raul, van Basten were the real deal. Some were not perfect but had native tal

Hes just too isolated in that team. Stick Bruno or Muller around him and he'd be drastically more dangerous. He had both Martinez and Varane on top of him for the vast majority of the game and the next closest player was Casemiro. He wasn't given much of a chance. Delivery was somewhere between...
