Gerard Romero can keep on dreaming. Lewandowski can wish to join us or any team all he wants, it is not happening if Bayern won't let him go or if he demand a huge fee.

Bayern has no replacement for him, let's be honest about it.

They should renew his contract. They are in a CL winning window and need to maximize that.

We are not and should go for a possible future star at the position instead. Maybe Darwin Nunez or someone else.

Bayern need to sell because of COVID losses

It's fine they will sign Adeyami or something on low wages

Bayern doesn't need to sell him, it is not like they are short on money (them and Madrid are the only two big clubs that did not have any COVID losses). Selling Lewandowski will not help them get anybody that will be equally impactful. They are not getting Haaland not because they can't pay the release clause, they can, but they won't be blackmailed to pay the agent fees and the kind of salary he and Raiola want.

Adeyemi is not going to Bayern at least for now and he can't fill Lewa's shoes right away. Again, no incentives for them to sell.

No, he doesn't want to leave, he wants to renew with Bayern for a longer contract and more money, that's his primary objective. The wanting to leave rumor only started because Bayern kept procrastinating.

He ain't coming for sure. Just using us as a pawn to get his last big fat contract from Bayern. He did the same stint before his previous renewal, Made Real Madrid as his pawn.

Worked with Ribery for them, so wouldn't be so sure on this.

I could see them letting him leave if he wants out, for what price is a different story though. He's very important and it seems like they weren't planning for big investments this summer so it's not like they can gift us Lewa for free and buy an expensive replacement.

Really don't want Barca to pay 30M+ or something and 20M+/year for 3 years, too much at that age imo.

The rumor says we are ready to offer him 35-40m gross for 2-3 years. Not sure if this 35-40m gross figure is per year, or for the entire duration of 2 to 3 years. If it is per year, Laporta is officially nuts. If it is for the entire duration, still too much money, but less than what Lewandowski is making at Bayern already (24m gross per year), so what is the point of him coming here, taking a paycut?

Yeah, Pizi Zahavi is just using our name to force Bayern to sit down and talk and pay up, I think.

He may be old but he’s a superstar that’s a good piece of the puzzle. It’s just too bad he’s coming into his twilight years.

Bayern forum posters saying they'd need 2 players to replace Lewy while strengthening other areas. They're visibly shitting themselves.

Bayern fans crying out for the board to come out and deny this but they aren't. They are actually scared. I'm starting to worry a little at this stage.

Nagelsmann's answer on this question 2 weeks back was something like "We all love Lewy but sometimes things don't go as you want". Seems a bit sus.

I think Bayern will demand 60m though and there's no way in hell we'll pay that for a 34 year old Lewy no matter how good he is.

Think we'll move on to other targets pretty quickly.
