Continued heavy rumours of our interest in Aleix Garcia. With a low buyout clause (20m) and Girona interested in retaining Eric Garcia or even Faye, I reckon we got good chances of closing a transfer should we reach agreement with the player.

Would definitely take him for 15-20m going by this seasons performances.

He is mobile, physical, can absolutely zing a ball, gets stuck in and good on set pieces.

Looks a vocal leader also and can never get enough of them. While he seems to be a Barca fan again a plus when it means that much to a player.

Currently he would start at DM.

The top teams have 6 mids or so they can rely on and Gundo probably has one more year at most.

Barca will be going into next season as stands with FDJ, Pedri (injury issues), Gavi (injury issues), Gundo (34).

Even if get a DM would still sign him.

Just had a look at his career trajectory, it's pretty weird lol.

Bought by City early from Villarreal, then loaned out to Girona and Mouscron (2nd div in Belgium. Then left on a free to FC Dinamo in Romania. 6 months later joins Eibar on a free, and another 6 months later goes to Girona on a free again.
