Well this guy isn't getting close to a Ballon d'or so there's that. He has talent but lacks the IQ to be a top top player.

In Lamine, Mainoo, Musiala etc you see a maturity at such a young age that sets them apart from other talents.

Tough game for him as he was isolated for most of the match with not much support at all from the fullback making overlapping runs. He doesn't have the natural instinct dribbling skill of a Di Maria or a Soule so he'll need to improve on that and it's evident that his biggest strengths are his runs off the ball, his speed and the ability to play both wings. At both club and national team, he does hustle defensively which is a positive sign.

Still young and making his tournament debut, a great experience for him to learn how to play in this type of game with no spaces. If he improves his dribbling and make better decision makings, then he'll be a huge asset to the national team.
