As a Dane i thought i would bring a little attention to a old Danish Barcelona player.

Allan Simonsen European player of the year in 1977, and the only player ever to scorer in all 3 European cup finals, European Cup, UEFA Cup, and Cup Winners' Cup finals.

from what i read Barcelona wanted to keep him, but he didn´t want to stay, the spanish league only allowed two foreign players, and Barcelona would have 3 after signing Maradona, he wanted to be in the stating 11 reguarly, he probaly wouldn´t be.

He describes in one of his books that the hardest decision he has made in his football career was to leave Barcelona. But he has never regretted it.

Now he's general manager for the Danish second division club FC Fredericia.
