I said Before we bought him hes slow, way to big and doesnt have the passing ability but many said he was fast and were a really good playmaker.
Yea..i can clearly see that now.

Xavi at 37 would do better than any of our midfielders right now. Hes actually quite good in Al-Sadd.

Struggle to see how Lucho thought he was the type of player needed for his system especially to cover Messi side of pitch.

Gomes is slow, not physical or great defensively. He is a player that needs more freedom and to be the one getting covered not the other way round.

I blame him for the whole disaster of a season, and of course Enrique who was forcing him on the field. Our midfield was just slowly falling apart every game he played and at the same time destroying Rakitič motivation and form. I think the team spirit was just getting worse and worse because of him and now we are at the bottom.

Obviously an average player and anyone with a minimum of football knowledge who watched him play for Valencia could see that. His agent is a genius though. He's able to put his clients' names in the papers like no other.

The main problem we have now is that we have invested heavily in our team and we are getting worse and worse. Do we have the money to invest heavily again?

Rakitic was crap for a while before Gomes even signed and he is not solely to blame for defeats when senior players like Pique, Busi and Messi were fucking terrible.

Gomes has looked a poor signing and not played well enough but you are going way over top in apportioning that level off blame.

What was he doing when Di Maria scored his second? Runs back into defense only to make a half-hearted try to put his leg up halfways instead of running at him to stop him from shooting. Omg.

We badly lost today because the defense made unusual mistakes and they were slow (sometimes 3 defenders tried to get the ball from a single opponent, when two other PSG players were absolutely clear - undoubtedly a tactical mistake), because Messi was out of form BUT most importantly we lost because the midfield was bad and above all poor Gomes, who played (and usually plays) like a piece of shit.

He is bad in defense, useless in attack, slow, despite his height always loses balls in the air, the only thing he is good in: doing short to middle range passes when there is nobody to disturb him. There are hundreds of players around who can do the same and at least are faster.
Asking repetitively: is he a Barca material???

The worst moment of match was in second half and Pique played Gomes a pass about ten yards away to take ball on and drive up park as had no one near him.

Gomes passed it back to Pique without even looking over his shoulder and space available.

Could see Pique sort of throw his hands up unhappy.

The most USELESS player that I have seen in the 25 years I have watched Barca. I've never disliked a player as much as I've disliked this guy. I cannot understand what it is Lucho sees in him or has seen from him this season to give him starting minutes. Been a huge Lucho fan, both as a player and as Barca coach, but I want him fired immediately for the way he's handled this season and especially for continuing to play this useless sack of sh*t.
