Sunny you couldn't control a football if your life depended on it. I don't expect you to understand football technique. :rofl1:

If you pay attention Yaya's control of the ball is magnificent. He loses possession of the ball less than Ibra and his control is more deft than Ibra's. I'm not saying Ibra isn't technically a good player; I'm saying Ibra has many bad touches and most people on this forum don't realize that.

If you are talking about hot Ibra is playing right now for Barca when he wasn't fully fit then yeah. But let just wait and see how Ibra plays when he is fit and is use to the Barca system.

I hope he starts on the left with Henry on the bench. Think that would be our best formation.

i agree with iniesta being on the left but henry has been in really good form recently for france and i think he should start with ineista remaining on the bench as our super sub. he is not full match fitness as of right now and we need some steel in the mid to counter inter. but if he starts in the mid there is no complaints from me :D

What's Don Andrés' thread doing at the bottom of the page? We could see the first start post-injury for Iniesta tonight although MD predicts a Xavi-Yaya-Keita midfield and HIM up front.

Please God No, a midfield without Iniesta would be a major loss. Henry will play upfront IMO, he was already rested last match.

Exactly, there's no need to rest Henry another match. Unless he's injured or something, but he's not.

it is going to be a physical game, and keita is in form. we should bring iniesta in later, when inter tire.

Unfortunately I doubt that Pep would risk Don Andres so soon after his injury in such a big game. He won't be back a full match fitness yet for sure.

yup.

iniesta will be on the bench and will come on for henry or keita (depending on the state of play).

It was good to see Iniesta get more minutes to regain his match fitness. I was surprised to see him enter as FC Barcelona official website didn`t have him on substitutes list

iniesta should have come on for keita, IMO. henry was just starting to get into the game and iniesta was needed more in midfield rather than attack. he could have helped us open them up.

I agree. Also Pep was a little late on the sub, should've done it around 55th or 60th minute IMO.

I first got the chance to watch Barca regularly when I found some, er, interesting sites on the net with live broadcasts from China. At that point, I knew about Henry, Messi etc - the usual suspects. But I didn't know about Iniesta. I remember watching him move from the left to the right, then the middle, back to the left... He was doing everything everywhere, and he could dribble too. I remember thinking, "Who is this guy?" Finally, his sensational goal against Chelsea proved he can finish when it counts.

I think Iniesta sums up in his personality and attitude as much as his general all round footballing ability just what Barcelona is all about. Like Leandro, the little-remembered Brazilian player of the 1982 World Cup, there were others that got the headlines in the team, but he was the one doing a lot of the great stuff behind them. Iniesta is my favourite player, and definitely one of the best players in the world.
