Antoine Griezmann

I get people complaining about him on high wages and his huge transfer fee and not scoring enough for us, but if you take Griezmann away, who is going to score for us, if Messi doesn?t?

Depay, Aguero and Fati to help pick up some goals and probably more from FDJ and/or Wijnaldum at times depending on what their role is.

Griezmann is not a player to get rid of though. He should only go for a premium transfer fee, which should be a minimum of 40m.

Conte at Spurs if willing to move there could be the move.

Plays two up top and loves workers like Griezmann.

Even Chelsea could be decent if keep two up top but they seem to be building younger side.

Tbh, I see him more for the spot Werner is on atm. Not Werner + Griezmann.

Ansu. ;)

Personally I'd still keep Griezmann unless we can sign a top quality #9 and/or get a too good to refuse offer for him (both is unlikely). We probably won't have a 40 goals scorer next season and our defenders and midfielders are rarely scoring so having 3-4 strikers who can score 15-20 goals (in all competitions) is the next best thing. And I think we can have that as long as everyone stays healthy.

Messi will still bang his 30+ goals, if Ansu fully recovers he should easily get 20-25 as well, and then we could have Griezmann, Kun and Memphis in that 15-20 range.

Improve the defense and it should be enough to be competitive domestically and also not being humiliated again in Europe.

True, he has real quality and losing him for 40 would make us worse.

Only for good price.

Have to consider his salary and what could do with 40m though.

There should be more goals in Barca this season from more places but the defence is miles off the attacking side even if Griezmann leaves.

Just curious, would his haters complain less if he'd accept 30% pay cut for example?

Would be actually quite funny to see people reactions if he'd do that while La Masia kids Busi and Alba would reject club's approach to lower their wages but stay regardless because nobody would want them.

I'd sell him purely because we have other options coming now plus he's on big wages and could actually command a decent fee which could help reinforce areas of the squad.

He's 30 so it's pretty much the last opportunity to cash in for any decent amount. I think he'd willingly take a decent pay-cut though, doesn't strike me as a trouble maker at all.

I think it mostly comes down to him being a bit bad fit because Messi. They occupy same space. Griezmann is fantastic player, but he is going to a waste with us. That's my feeling. I would rather have real winger over Griezman for example.

Same with Coutonho.
