I bet Ozil will be happy playing in the Europa League! LOOOL
Makes no difference to him, had he stayed at Real, he would have never won a CL title either. :troll:

Also, why can't they beat Napoli? They certainly seemed playable at home against Dortmund, but Dortmund got unlucky (Subotic hindered, Klopp out, Weidenfeller out, Schmelzer out). Since Arsenal dominated Dortmund for a large part of the second half.

I am Leg End
No one is saying they can't do it however in Naples it's difficult for any team to win. Plus Rafa is a genius in europe makes it even harder.

Yeah, Bayern are like that... that's why they went on to beat Barca 3-0 in the second leg of the semis after winning 4-0 in the first one.

LOL! i hope your not serious! its actually embarrassing that that's Arsenal fans most proudest win in the CL for years! a games that was already over after the 1st leg! Bayern were not interested in that game as they knew they were already through!

I hate when Arsenal fans brag about that game but they already lost, kinda want Bayern to play them just to remind them how shit they are. I have nothing against Arsenal as a club but its weird how a set of fans can change so much :p

Why didn't Bayern lose every single game after the league was already won then? Why don't they lose every single friendly they compete in? The results don't matter, there's no point winning, right? Not to mention Arsenal was a few more chances away from going through, it wasn't cut and dry by any means and they were clearly the better team in the 2nd game.

LOL! beating Barca in both legs sent a huge message across Europe, no matter who you are whenever you play against Barca you are always up for it! the same cant be said about Arsenal.

only teams Bayern would be motivated to embarrass over 2 legs would be Barca, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Dortmund and United anyone else i doubt they would be too bothered about destroying in a 2nd leg if the job is already done in the 1st leg.

I agree. If Barcelona won like 3-0 away against the likes of Shakhtar, Atletico, or some other team that is in the CL but not necessarily a European giant then I think the home match would be much more relaxed. However, if they had that same result against Bayern, Real, etc. then we would want to win again at home and send a message that Barcelona are still a force to be reckoned with.

Having said that; Arsenal have been playing much better than last year and teams would be more wary of them this season.

I know, right? Some of these excuses from others are downright hilarious.

because Bayern not being fully motivated doesnt mean they lose! they can still beat most teams without being motivated! this is simple stuff!

What does it even matter for what reason they won? Arsenal beat Bayern away, that's a fact. Bayern not being motivated is not their fault; besides, it wasn't even that clear they'd go through.

Calma, calma
lol I remember watching that Bayern 0-2 Arsenal game. Bayern totally dominated Arsenal, the result was just so wrong on so many levels. And they were missing both Ribery and Schweinsteiger. Muller hit the woodwork too.

Edit: Just took a look back.
Bayern - 23 shots
Arsenal - 5 shots

Says it all really.

Nope, it doesn't. Most of those were long shot, they didn't dominate them at all. Arsenal did well to close them down, not allowing them many dangerous chanses.

But anyway, who cares? Arsenal are top of the league and can easily challenge for titles this season. No need to argue about that game against Bayern.
