In... Portuguese?

edit: watched it in the end (didn't know there was a translate option for youtube videos - not that it's accurate or helpful). Thanks, xXKonan.

Here's another video I found, it's in Spanish and tends to highlight Arthur's movements and tricks he uses to get out of tough situations. That's what I found interesting. Anyways:

I'm personally worried about Arthur and don't think it's easy (if possible) to predict whether he'll make it here playing the way he used to in Brazil or not. People often claim he's press-resistent (hi, MessiCam, if reading this) but I can't be sure. It's probably crucial for his game. What gives me hope is that he's obviously inteligent, hard-working, kind of a workhorse and even if he doesn't manage to translate him game from South America, I believe he might make it, albeit as a midfielder of different profile to one we are used to.

His best position is CM with a DM behind him. He can play DM if needed but it will reduce his possibility of making dangerous passes, because he will have to stay deep. He never played AM in Gremio but I think he would be great as well, due to his vision, technique and control.

I think with the possibility of Coutinho playing LW, Barca could use Rakitic as AM, Arthur as CM and Busquets DM.

The thing is I don’t rate denis, so an am replacement for him is good, I don’t think that’s realistic though valverde wants to keep him

I feel like Alena would be a fine enough replacement for both Denis and Gomes, myself. Those minutes would do him well.

Arthur played with a possession based team in Brazil which I consider pretty unique given that a lot of teams down there are set up guns blazing attacking or defensive.

While the jump between Brazil and La Liga is big, I do think his time at Gremio prepared him well to understand the possession system we are use to seeing with this team of ours. He will evolve in some ways but I can't see him completely changing his profile if he's here.

He's hyped up a lot in Brazil because he's rather unique. in Brazil you will find a lot of Destroyer DM's, Attacking Midfielders and Box to Box mids, but very rarely you would find someone of Arthur's profile aka a controller like CM.

In Spain he would fit in well but in Brazil? he's different. In general it seems like it's getting harder and harder to find Controllers out there.

It all comes down to his skills, his ability to learn and adapt.
Ok, playing in a possession-based team surely helps, but all Arsenal's players Soneg, Hleb, Fabregas came from a team who is copying our style of play more or less and all of them were flops to average.

So, it's all about Arthur now and how can he adapt and improve.

Rumor has it that apart from the technical skills, he has some work horse skills too which could be developed
