I think this has all to do with expectations. But we have to look objectively at players' performance, not be disappointed or surprised based on expectations and rate players based on that.
Lets just face the reality, Madrid's summer shopping so far has been super, they have signed Isco who is the most likely future replacement for Iniesta in the NT and two other very good young players in Illarramendi and Carvajal. Whereas Barca is on the verge of losing Thiago, Marquinhos close to joining PSG & in the end Thiago Silva will most probably not come. Neymar won't be defending for Barca next season, we need central defenders & a quality GK for future.
+1
I'm not against the Neymar signing, but, unfortunately, Madrid's summer has been significantly better than ours so far.
Isco would get in the Barcelona team.
Ahead of who?
The only place he would have a chance would be on the right and thats not his position at all.
Better in what way though.
Barcelona signed probably the most sought after player of the last 5 years, for less money than others were willing to offer.
It is easier to improve a poor team, but that doesnt mean they are having a better transfer window. They have spent about 75m on players that would not get in the Barca team.

He'd be better than what we have there now. He wouldn't get a spot in midfield but he'd walk into the RW spot.

Real Madrid have now paid 75.5M to buy 3 players: Isco (30M), Illarramendi (39M), Carvajal (6.5M)
We have better players that came for Free from La Masia...
Montoya > Carvajal.
Busquets > Illaramendi who's just 1 year younger.
Thiago > Isco.
Even if we sell Thiago, we'll still have 18-22M (+).
