I only wish Laporta picked up the Team of the Year award on their behalf and said "i'll pass it to Madrid when we next play them".
Would have capped off a terrific weeks of entertainment.

Player of the season in La Liga. 9G+A in the Champions League + an assist to Vinicius in the final.
Also scored I think 2-3 goals in the Euros and was probably a top three player for England who made the final.
Kinda crazy how they didn't actually choose to campaign for Bellingham. Especially after Vinicius' disasterclasses for Brazil where their fans and media started calling for him to get benched.

Had a relatively quiet second half of season by BDO standards, even if was clutch every time team needed it
Vini was absolutely an easier sell purely on performance grounds
