With a 5-1 win over Rayo at Vallecas, Luis Enrique's Barca have now broken all time Spanish unbeaten streak record.

Surpasing Real Madrid's 34 games without defeat from 1988/1989, Barca are now on 35 matches unbeaten run.

It's incredible considering how bad our Pre season was and the first couple of months of the season when we weren't in good shape, Messi was out for two months and Rafinha had a long term injury and other injuries piling up as well.

We are 1st in the La Liga standings with a nice 8 Point lead on Atletico and a 12 point lead on Real, and we are in the Copa Del Rey final and we are most likely headed to the CL quarter finals and things are looking great.

I'm not sure what to think about this record - the numbers are impressive and a little insane, but the record only holds because Kaptoum scored late against Valencia in a match that didn't matter much. It's great if it makes people who don't follow Barca actknowledge Lucho more, though
