I have home kit with Messi, think it's good tbh. Something different but not a disaster like checkered or horizontal. Bit PSG esque.

Next season's home jersey would have been perfect if the crest was on the right side rather than on the middle. Having the Nike logo on the left and the crest on the middle looks so out of place.

Overall, I agree with you, Nike really needs to step up their game in terms of kit design.
