he played the position in youth tbf, but I have doubts over his speed as CB, never mind as RB

If you read my formations it's based on two different tactics to implement, I put the first one is playing with wingers. The second one is more like a midfield dominant. Someone like Messigician won't understand it, but the rest should.

I understand it but what happens when we lose possession in the opponent's half? I suppose you'd say we're playing really high up the pitch and so they'd be forced to hit it long

Now that we're in rebuild mode what should out identity and playing style look like? Do we continue with the traditional 4-3-3 Cryuff based possession game OR do we evolve into a more rigid team with athletic payers OR a mix of both like Pep's 2009/2010?

I really hope we?re not in for Depay, as he isn?t anywhere near good enough.
Gaya is ?ok?. Though in truth, I?d prefer someone faster and more athletic, because the team is severely lacking in that regard. That said, I can?t really think of anyone at the moment who would be an obvious candidate.
Get rid of the deadwood and ridiculous wages, get top 4 with a non-humiliating exit in the CL would be a decent season. I?d rather not buy anyone at all, than buy filler though. Depay simply isn?t good enough. Tagliafico isn?t either. He?s also too slow for a FB.
Guimares or Aouar would be more useful from Lyon.

Atal is a beast. He would be first pick for me.
Griezmann as a winger is a big no, especially LW.

Ditch Lautaro. From the 70-90m they will commit to Lautaro they can sign Atal/Dest and one of Gaya/Estupinan/Gosens etc.
