crazy under the radar...and many forget that he's still only 24 years old! Very interested if Forest actually take that purchase option...if they stay up, I think they actually will.

Would love for Lodi to get a call from Charvy and tell Atletico "Barca or nothing".

Don't particularly rate him that highly, but clearly worth the years loan fee.

We don't need anyone. You don't need a plan B to Lewa because the guy is plan A+B 2 in 1. So if he has a bad game so would someone else. He is not some midget 9 to say you can put in a taller dude to cross to. Lad is 1.85-1.87 tall and good in the air.

We should focus on fullbacks now. Attack looks plenty good even without Auba and Depay.

There is no depth beyond Lewa. Depay or Auba would be a luxury for atleast half a season.

Doubt Firmino will go after todays performance. Nunez returns with a lack of confidence or form and Firmi could well see himself playing more than expected this start of season.

CR will go in a couple of days, and United will then come and pay 8-10M for Depay. Better than letting him go for free to those Italian cheapskates (glad that Memphis wanted a wage increase last minute so that fell through). If we sell to United, we at least get to make some profit on him, and he will also get his wage demands met there without much trouble as well.

We'll keep Auba. And we're gonna a sign a RB, probably that Rennes captain, since we can afford him (transfer and wage wise) without letting anyone else go. He seems like a good solid RB, both defensively and offensively. A decent stop gap until next summer, when we'll probably look for something more permanent. As for the Rennes dude, if he'll impress enough, he'll stay as the backup for a couple more years (we'll probably put him on a three year contract this summer), while we hopefully let Roberto go.

Dest will stay as backup cover for both RB and LB. Since even with four full backs (Balde, Alba, Roberto and the new RB) we're gonna be a little light on quality in that area, so we'll compensate that with having (more) options. Dest will probably get his chance to impress at some point of the season, either at RB or LB, depending on the fitness of the other full backs. But most likely this will be his last season at the club too. Especially if Xavi stays.

At least that's how I think (and hope) the last few days of the transfer window are gonna go.

If we sell Aubameyang and Depay we should try and get Firmino .. he is surplus apparently

Firmino is an overrated bum. Statistically the worst finisher in world football, and worst of all he is a forward, scores once in a blue moon. Made a career because of Salah and Mane.

The goal against Bournemouth was his first league goal at Anfield since December 2020. Almost 2 full years between goals, pathetic stat from a forward.

The Busi of forwards, gets praised for some stupid unique skill set, but is shit at the job he is supposed to do. Wouldn't take him even on a free. Just imagine if we had to play a game with a Dembele-Firmino-Ferran forward line, who would score goals, opposition could play without a GK and would still be safe.

🤣 You are right. Klopp is a genius at making mediocre players look good. Look at Wini.

This is why your views on football are irrelevant
For a good while he was a vital part of the Liverpool front three who were regarded by many as the best front three in world football

In his pomp, Bobby was fantastic as a false 9 for us creating space for Salah and Mane.

Ferran and Dembele aren't high scoring wingers/inside forwards like Salah and Mane so the Dembele-Firmino-Ferran trio obviously won't work.

In his pomp, Bobby functioned as the glue between midfield and attack with his insane first touch, close control, skill moves and Football IQ. He was the trigger for pressing from the front and defending as a unit. Was very useful with his head from corners on both the boxes.

In that timeframe, our front trio was deadly and got a lot of love from the media too. Bobby helped us get the best outta Sadio and Mo as the false 9.

He was never rated as one of the best strikers in the world coz he lacks that goalscoring pedigree but as s false 9 in that system he was more than perfect. Infact, for Hoffenheim, he used to play Attacking Midfield.

Every Liverpool fan loves him for his contribution to our club. He's not really a striker. More of a False 9, Attacking Midfield kinda player.

Says the guy who can't even read a Wikipedia page correctly.

Arrogant and dumb, the worst possible combination, and you have mastered both traits.

I was the one who actually sourced the SPECIFIC player profile from Wiki .. numbnutz
