Well, we can't get better player then this, I puted players we are linked last summer and now.

Eric to stay as 4th CB? Did you watch todays game?

You sell Rapinha, and who is in?
I don't count on Ferran he has been shit except 2 games.

Why no to Ndicka?

Quicker and stronger than Eric. Also good on the ball, not as much as Eric, but still. Can also be an emergency left-back if needed.

That is ideal scenario obviously, but reality is different.
La Liga is essentially implementing a hard cap with new rules, which will complicate transfers a lot, even the 1:4 rules of 2021 was far easier.
We need a DM and it is top priority. And probably need an attacker since we are likely selling some of ours.
At defense, getting a cheap RB will be difficult.
With Porro and Gusto off the market, the remaining known options are: Foyth, Arnau, Fresneda & Vanderson.
Vanderson is most likely expensive, and is more of WB, Fresneda has 18M buyout clause, but he is now benched and has long way to go and many clubs interested, Foyth and Arnau fits the defensive RB Xavi loves but would cost money we don't have for a RB that won't give us an upgrade over Kounde.
I prefer when we go for a RB, we go for a real one, someone who can overlap and create and still defend. At the moment the realistic scenario that it isn't happening.
We won't go for a new unknown prospect either, since we paid 3.5M for Araujo to sit half a season not doing anything, it is clear he is the prospect we want but I simply have no hopes of him being a starter.

So next year, it is very unlikely that all 3 won't start , so for me it is better to get a CB that can cover our ass when we miss a player.
Don't know if Ndicka is that tbh. It could be a case of him being a Boubacar Kamara, whom fans of every big club thought their board are idiots for not snatching him, and he ends up in A.Villa and no one currently break a sweat on missing him.

Or he could be a Christensen, who many didn't rate high but is doing well here

I forgot that we are not playing on Camp Nou, so situation will be even worse.
So sure thing is we will need to sell.
So selling all above mentioned and even players like De Jong, will not be excluded.

Priority is getting RB and LW, DM is not a priority. Busi is staying, De Jong is here also very likely.

Maybe someone on loan like Amrabat, but paying money for Brozovic or Sociedad guy is not likely.

Contracts out in 2024. Most of these will probably renew but would be great if we could snatch a few up for cheap. Likes of Dalot, Pavard, Amrabat, Nico Williams and Carrasco are lower down on the list. Also Morata :messi:

A lot of quality attackers there. Vini :lol:, Saka, Leao or Rashford would be legit for free but all will sign new contracts.

The player we will end up with is at the bottom of that list. Dani Olmo

I didn’t realize he was out of contract 2024. It’s too bad we are in financial ruin. Maybe selling Raphinha, Torres or Fati could fund this move.

Leao - Lewandowski ( or Thuram) - Dembele is kinda spicy. Leao/thuram/Dembele… all fast black players… love it.

If we can't bring in legit quality wingers with solid numbers, I'd rather bring back Abde for squad role and keep the money. Don't think Leao is doable in the summer, we'll be looking at free agents or cheaper players imo, unless we sell someone for top money and clear out big wages. Which I don't see happening.

I don't think Thuram would be that expensive, he might even settle for lesser wages than Fati (after his extension), whose wages we need to get rid of (either by a sale or a loan). Thuram can play LW no problem, and would also be an improvement on Auba in terms of a backup striker for Lewa. Add to that a developmental project like Vitor Roque/Prestianni (in addition to Abde, if we'll keep him), for when Thuram does play instead of Lewa, and we're set.

Selling one of Ferran/Raphinha (since we don't need both) should also help balance the books and make this happen. It's just a question of Thuram rejecting big PL money and be happy to join, even when it certainly means lower wages than he could've got elsewhere. Joining Barca would certainly be much bigger stature and incentive than joining for example, the likes of Aston Villa, Newcastle, Brentford...cause I don't think he'll actually get offers from Arsenal, City, United...and Liverpool don't need him. Out of the top teams I see only Chelsea maybe being in for him, but who'd want to go to that mess right now.
