It surprises me, that after yesterday's game there are still some who want to go back to Bartomeu's signings, which were the downfall of this club. Didn't La-Masia show yesterday that it gives back as long as you trust it?
Why the hell people want to block a position by bringing in Kimmich for a huge contract, when we have even without Frenkie: Casado, Bernal, Pedri, Gavi, Christensen who can all play on this position for a fraction of his salary?
Why would the club drag a 20m/y Kimmich contract for 5 years until he's 35 if we have such players on this position? Why would you bench players like Casado and next season Bernal for Kimmich? Didn't Casado show yesterday that he can compete on the highest level?
I really hope Laporta isn't that stupid to repeat Bartomeu's mistakes. We have a gift with La-Masia every other club in the world envies us. It would be beyond stupidity to block their doors again.

Replace de Jong with kimmich, who is a better player and a better DM even though neither are the best in the world at it.

But Kimmich doesn't play that role in Bayern, and Flick didn't use him there.

That was Grotzke, Kimmich simply sucked at it.
I would prefer to either bring a natural CDM or continue to have faith in Casado & Bernal. Ideally it us the later but it will depend on how we see Bernal recovery process, if we have a plan C for the position (Gavi? Prim? Soma?)

Kimmich is a rich man Sergi Roberto, he is far better player obviously, but just like Roberto, whenever he has a run in one position, fans will scream he is wasted there because his natural position is something else.

Great to have if he is one of ours, but I won't pay premium money for him.

Also, I would take Mingueza back as RB or just use Casado there when Kounde is rested, assuming that Flick isn't convinced with Fort.

If there is a free agent I would take from Bayern, it is Sane, because he is far better player than Torres, even if he is frustrating himself.

Try to sell FDJ and invest the money in depth at fullbacks and in the attack and a starting GK, not in midfield.

Yes we would need someone who is strong but good on the ball and would accept to be on the bench for most games. Maybe Seydou has a son? He was perfect for that role.
