On the radio, the journalist that lives in London and covers the EPL said that Liverpool has an agreement with Suarez since last year when they renewed his contract:

- If a club offers £80M they will sell him.

Till it's not met, they have no obligation to sell him. That's it.

Are this point, with us trying to whore Alexis off to Liverpool and various other clubs, if rumours are to be believed, I sincerely doubt he has any interest in staying put. Not that I blame him one bit...

It will work out imo. Barcelona will just pay what Liverpool wants. Just like RM last year for Bale.

Ya, at the time Liverpool board said “contracts don’t mean a lot”.

The truth on that was that Liverpool made a big mistake because the £40M release clause was too little in their opinion. So they refused to comply by it.

And it was all over the press, even here, when it was revealed in March 2014 that during summer 2013: 1/ there was a release clause, 2/ It was only £40M
