First thing - Nolito would stilll be available if we want to pay the buyout as far as I know. Therefore it shouldn't say "it did not work", but simply that Lucho or the club for some reason don't want him anymore (though he would be cheaper than Gameiro).

Torres on a free transfer with let's say a 2.5 or 3 mill per year is way better than a Gameiro costing 30 mill + 4 years salary.

Torres could be our new Larsson.

Yes, I know what it is. "the new Larsson" has become a joke of a phrase when it was used to defend incoming garbage ever since Santiago Ezquerro and Maxi Lopez. Please dont use it.

Gameiro is a quality player, much better than expected if he comes to play off our bench. Tbh I don't care how much he is.. we desperately need someone to rotate with the front three and he is miles above Munir and Sandro. This season he's better than Pedro too.


(Us singing Torres would never happen, it's as likely as the Van Persie rumours earlier this season. Although he's scored against us he has nothing we need in terms of his style, we need a fast, clinical impact player.. Gameiro is a good fit if the rumours are true)

Halilovic will have a buyback clause and will develop better in a top team like Sevilla.
