I'd prefer De Gea over Ter Stegen but we wont get him anyways. We can buy experienced Reina for 4M£ as our 2nd goalkeeper. With those CB's we are going to get destroyed. I don't think Musachhio has ever played in the Champions league and Bartra isn't ready yett.

There is no way in hell De Gea is a better keeper than Ter Stegen. De Gea is so incredibly overrated.

Btw, what does it matter if a player has never played in the UCL? Talent is what matters. Neymar had never played in the UCL either, nor in Europe for that matter....

I'm just saying that it probably wouldn't be the smartest idea to put 2 unexperienced and young centre backs in the starting line up in UCL against a team like Bayern.

Musacchio has 3 years experience playing in La Liga, that's plenty even despite his youth. Fazio has 4 years. You can question their talent level to play for a team like Barca, but they have enough experience. You don't need to have played in the UCL before to be able to perform well in it.

Also, you won't be playing both together. Pique is the undisputed starter. You're looking for a potential partner for him and/or additional CB depth.

I personally don't see the sense in Barca getting Fazio, he's just not good enough. Musacchio however, is a talented player certainly good enough to be rotational CB material for Barca, at the very least. Though I personally would like Barca to focus on getting a fast, quick and strong CB type to complement Pique and Bartra, who are similar type of CBs.

My opinion is to buy Musacchio for rotation or as third choice CB to partner Pique/Bartra and Fazio as their backup.
Then you get two very good defenders who are potential world cup winners :messi:

Wouldn't take De Gea, but I would Coutrois in a moment. ter Stegan is still really good, and can grow.

Wouldn't mind getting a goal keeper on loan, just as back up for Ter Stegen. Someone experienced, who'd be cheap

But ter needs to play consistently to establish rhythm and get used to his team mates, must be given room to make mistakes and improve!!!!!!
