We'd be back in the same position as today but worse off because of a transfer ban.

Who is talking about wages here? English clubs and MLS clubs could be his next destination. Barca is not signing two GKs to keep playing Valdes again. He can stay here and recover. Then he can leave for wherever he wishes to go. Doesn't mean he HAS to sign up for another club in this summer, or else he has to continue with Barca.

Valdes isn't coming back. If not Monaco, some English club or other will offer him a deal. He's not coming back.

I read he's open to offers, where did you read he's almost certain to leave?

Btw, will Atletico still keep 1 player from their starting 11 next season, seems like everybody wants to leave? Tiago, Villa, Diego Costa, Courtois, Filipe Luiz and possibly also Miranda?

Seems like it. He said he has several offers from england and spain and considering those offers. If atletico agrees to negotiate he will definitely leave. He wants to leave that is clear. I think he will leave mostly but not to barca.

Le Parisien is giving many different alternatives. Like Candreva, who's said to be closer than any others to join us since Hazard is out of the question now.
