Clearly the best option if we are being honest and we want to get an actual striker

Plus kudos for bringing up Retegui as I rate him a lot but not sure if he's the level we want. I agree he's a very good option if we can't afford most of the guys we dream of (which is very possible) as I reckon Atalanta would let him go for relatively cheap money. They have Scamacca and Gasperini oftens benchs Retegui for team balance.

We don't have the money so I kept some realism. Buying from EPL is suicide.

Lookman is there because people ignore him as a solution for the left while being probably the best in terms of output/price.
Making him famous.

I would prefer Retegui and a pure 9, but I don't think we can have 3 transfers in one go and drain Atalanta. )

He's in his 1st full European season with 10 G+A in 20 Serie A matches. He'll need another full season to smooth the edges.

Would he be good enough for Barca? Not sure, but he's still a player to keep tabs on as Lewy will still be here until 2026.
