ok dude from now on before voting we agree on one name all of us and then we all vote for him.

I know you aren't the sharpest knife in the drawer but I was only pointing out how I don't think Ibra comes close, there's plenty of argument for others besides Del Piero even though I think it's obvious who is answering and actually watches Serie A for more than just their favourite player (and I'm not talking about myself)

It's a bit surprising to me that Sheva got quite so many votes, he only played in Serie A for about half that decade. Always good stats for the seasons he had, well excluding his fair well tour year where he scored 0. But was there for only half the time Alex was!

you made it seem like there is only one name we should pick and anyone choosing another name is stupid. What if to me Ibra's few years are more than enough to make him better than Del Piero. Ibra at his peak was better than Del Piero ever was in my opinion, ... what if I think continuity doesn't matter as much ? It's easier for players like Del Piero to lure everyone to name him the best as he devoted his time for his club, it overrates him a bit in my opinion, doesn't make him better. Same reason for Totti.

Anyway Del Piero might be second or third best to me, but still Ibrahimovich is one of the most fitting players for Serie A and the best striker they will see for years to come.

Surprised no one mentioning Crespo.

I love Crespo but he peaked right as the decade started and was never the same after signing with Chelsea.

Ibrachokeabitch could have played for one club or 10 during the past decade, it doesn't change the fact that he didn't play as a striker for most of the decade. If you think three years are enough to make someone the best player of the decade so be it. There's no one right choice, the problem is when the only argument Ibra fanboys are coming up with is "IBRA IS TEH BEST". then yes it's a stupid choice.

Really hard to rate as some of those guys were also creative midfielders or made their name in the 90s (which, btw., were way better than last decade).
If we are to be strict and look at last 10 years only then Sheva and Totti are frontrunners. Former in first part of the decade, latter in second.

trez... always underrated. poor guy.

sheva was only there for half a decade and totti was a #10 for 2/3rds of the decade.

Ibra peak > Del Piero peak.
Ibra singlehandedly brought 3 trophies to Inter.

its between sheva and ibra.

Anyone voting Ibrahimovic clearly hasn't a clue tbh.

And LOL and Ibra peak > Del Piero peak

1) Ibra hasn't had a peak yet

2) in Del Piero's peak he helped Juve be a powerhouse in Italy and europe.

Well, they had to help someone while you guys were busy throwing mopeds from the third tier of the San Siro. :)

Actually, pajo, Del Piero played the full 90 of that game. And their time gaps in getting to (if not necessarily winning) the final is a wee bit shorter than the 40-odd years some other clubs took. :D
