Claudio Bravo did not complete Barca monday’s training session with Barcelona. The Chilean goalkeeper had to drop out early and his face suggested he was very concerned about the injury which forced him to stop training with his teammates.
Barca are not revealing the length of time players will be out this season, but it’s almost certain he will miss the trip to Atletico Madrid this weekend, while he’s also a doubt for the matches against Levante, Celta Vigo and Las Palmas. It is unlikely he’ll be ready for the Champions League opener against Roma, either, but Marc-Andre ter Stegen would presumably have played that game anyway.
With Bravo’s injury confirmed, Luis Enrique is without one of the key pillars of his defence and one of the players who has looked most in form at the start of the new campaign. He has played three games this season and has conceded just one goal so far. In fact, In La Liga he’s not conceded at all as he goes in search of a second successive Zamora Trophy.
