Great to see RB Leipzig beating HSV 0:4 in Hamburg. Too much fuss from the Bundesliga fans against RB Leipzig. Beat them all!

They have a reason to dislike RB Leipzig.

I know, but it is too much. The head of a bull cut off and thrown to the pitch? Endless threats of protests and touting of RB Leipzig fans? BVB's sour demand of not allowing their logo to be printed on the match scarf? Too much for me.

As I heard RB Leipzig bended so much rules and made so much "tricks" with all the rules for investments and managsement of the club. Germans were proud of not getting "city/psg" instant petrodollars clubs... and then RB made such moves. There was a big article im our media abut this to explain bulls head and BVB fans boycott of Leipzig game.

You ain't seen nothing yet. They have been hated since they were "founded" 7 odd years ago and in the meantime, actions against the club by the fans were way heavier than this. If they are succesful this season, the intensity of the campaign against them will gradually increase again, guarenteed.

The hypocrisy in regard to this issue is off the scale. The much lauded 50+1 rule is illegal under European law, according to every legal expertise I've seen on the subject. It will fall the day an investor sues at the European Court.

The role model traditional club Dortmund is a stock-listed corporation, the only one in the Bundesliga. It doesn't get a lot more capitalist than that.

Another role model traditional club, HSV, couldn't have survived without a private investor Kühne injecting double digit millions season after season.

Bayern were the frontrunners of undermining the 50+1 by allowing corporations to be "members".

And of course it's much better to depend on Putin financially, like Schalke, than on an Austrian lemonade producer. /s.

Out of curiosity, based on what ground is 50+1 considered illegal under European law?

There are other issues but the most important is that these clubs are corporations and the 50+1 is a restriction on investors imposed by the FA and that isn't allowed according to European competition law.

Absolutely...Separate note, watching Dortmund vs Wolfsburg. Its like Dortmund are toying with them.

I don't support Dortmund as a 2nd team or something, but they're so great to watch. Sexy football.

Tuchel next Barca coach? :pep:

It will be Valverde. The man's heavily linked to Barca everytime there's a vacancy. He will eventually grab it. :pep:
Oscar and Koeman amongst other contenders.

Yeah, Valverde is the obvious candidate. But it seems like Robert's been given a free reign so far and showed himself to be a man thinking out of the box compared to Zubi.

Perhaps it'll be someone other than them. I think Lucho will go for 4 seasons as Pep or perhaps a season more max. This job is so demanding that it gotta really tire you out.
